Do you ever feel like you’re just keeping your head above water and if someone threw you a life preserver you just might take it?

But then…..

you rally and swim to the side and catch your breath.

Beginning this new adventure I’m feeling like…..

Can I really do this?

Am I strong enough?

Am I smart enough?

Why did I think people would like this?

That’s OK!

This is Normal!

At 49, I’m at a point in my life where I can take charge, or grow old….it’s my choice.

So…I’m writing Fearlessly Facing Fifty©, sharing my story, producing a podcast, facilitating roundtables and speaking at events and still a proud business owner running my virtual skincare business…..(maybe I will need some floaties)

NO WAY!

I know when to ask for help….and I’m a lifetime learner – loud and proud. I’ll put it on my ‘hello my name is’ badge if I need to.

There are so many resources available to us.

Do we use them? I’m revising my website – (with a very talented and techy’ millennial company) – I had no idea how to do that, or where to start (like I told them…I can talk to a wall and write til’ the cows come home, but I still can’t figure out how to turn the flashlight off on my phone). So when they looked at my DIY website….they may or may not have gasped, and probably went home to call their mothers…(relatable?) to check in, and I probably was the discussion at their work happy hour that night…but

That’s OK!

This is normal!

Remember that saying….Do something that scares you everyday…I’m living proof at the moment.

I’m starting all the craziness that centers around branding…(who knew). I’m learning how to mix music, and what the heck a pop filter is. I’m interviewing experts at what they do…and so excited to share it with you.

This stuff is scary…I feel at times like the waves are getting bigger and at any time I could encounter a riptide….

That’s OK!

This is normal!

So Fearlessly Facing Fifty© is all about YOU & ME….anyone that is 40+.

We haven’t peaked yet….as a matter of fact we’re just getting started!

The women in the book, and involved in the discussions and on my podcasts are the women you encounter at work, the gym, the grocery store, the soccer field, or the pick up line at school.

Real Talk – Real Women – Real Life

Looking at things from a different angle, when we embark and embrace a stage of life when it seems the current is changing.

And no life preservers, floaties or rafts allowed….at the end of this we will all be able to tread water for hours!

Now go forth and be awesome!
