Are you looking for that special gift for the fearless and fabulous family and friends in your life?
I’ve compiled my personal favorite collection of thoughtful ideas to stress ‘less’ and make shopping a little bit easier this season.
These picks are from the heart with hopes to bring you joy – NO AFFILIATE LINKS (although you may find one author familiar). Most of these items were given to me as gifts from friends over the years, or I found them along my journey and immediately fell in love with them. I’m all about sharing and want to share the JOY with you.
All descriptions and links are at the bottom of the post with brief descriptions.
Happy gift giving (and snag a little something just for YOU)
- Classic L.L. Bean Mocs – these have been my GoTo since 1984 – they are a classic – from coaching on the pool deck, to gardening to puddles and slush – they are perfect. Pair them with a pair of smart wool socks in the cooler temps and keep those tootsie warm.
-
G Gradual Women’s Pants with Deep Pockets 7/8 Stretch Ankle Sweatpants – basically a Lulu dupe for a fraction of the cost. I have these in a variety of colors (the camo is cool) – you will not be disappointed.
-
PRANAYAMA RESTORE RIB WRAP from Athleta – perfect to throw on after a workout or to cozy up with a cup of tea. I have it in two colors and love it.
-
Cassaluna silk pillowcase – head to your nearest Target or grab a few online. The price is outrageously great and they get better with every wash. You deserve a little splurge.
-
Cassaluna micro waffle bed blanket – while you’re grabbing a silk pillowcase throw a couple of these in your cart. They are the perfect layering weight for your guest room. Easy to throw in the washer and dryer.
-
Ember Mug Powder Blue – a little bit of a splurge. I got one as a gift and I’m never going back to any other mug. And the new powder blue is a such a great color. It does more than simply keep your coffee hot, it allows you to set an exact drinking temperature, so your coffee is never too hot, or too cold.
-
Touch Control Bird Lamps – (pack of 2) Birds of a feather – flock together. These add a little ambience to the nightstand and are just the perfect touch of warmth. Can be used indoor and outdoor.
-
Rifle paper company Monogram Embroidered Journals – to spark your creativity. An embroidered journal, just for you. Outside, it’s wrapped in book cloth and embroidered with your initial. Inside, you’ll find 240 pages and a ribbon to mark your place.
-
Zebra pen (dry ink) gift set – I LOVE THESE and I’m left-handed. Perfect for the left handed person in your life. Medium point, rapid dry black gel ink dries quickly, eliminating smudges and smearing. YAY!
- Heart Healthy Cookbook -perfectly-portioned meals for two – This was given to us after my husbands heart attack. When cooking with heart health in mind, portion sizes are just as important as ingredients. This heart healthy cookbook saves you the guesswork of what and how much to eat with perfectly portioned recipes just for two.
-
Flax Linen Washed Kitchen Towel – Whether you’re whipping up a soufflé or putting together a rustic stew, these hardy and handy country flax kitchen towels are the perfect accompaniment to any culinary endeavor.
-
LL Bean Boat and Tote – I have these in every size and color possible. From the heavyweight canvas to the reinforced handles to the double-stitched seams, nothing compares to our Boat and Tote. Made in Maine, one tote at a time.
-
L”occitane Shea butter hand cream – I have one in the car, in my purse on my nightstand and have been my GoTo hand cream since my friend introduced me to it 10 years ago. It’s perfection for your hands.
-
Storage bins with lids – since we right-sized recently – these are the absolute best storage solution. And they look great too!
- CANNONBALL! Fearlessly Facing Midlife and Beyond – so I had to do it. I wrote this with a vulnerable heart – and never dreamed it would be an amazon best seller within an hour of publishing it. Thank YOU. It’s a must have for that mom, sister, daughter, friend, colleague who is ready to treat themself as a guest of honor. I appreciate the support – and a new book coming end of 2025! Stay tuned.
I can’t wait to hear from YOU – and comment with any of your favorite things to give or receive as gifts. And most importantly, make sure you take TIME for you this season. Be present and kind to yourself.
With love and gratitude,
