What I know is this:
You are built not to become small or invisible, but to grow and blossom into more. To be more magnificent. To be more extraordinary. To use every moment to fill yourself up. And not just fill yourself up – but overflow so you can serve and lead others to their greatest potential.
What I know is this: Too many hide their light. They’re so concerned with what others think that they’ve compromised their dreams and end up losing themselves.
What I know is this: There is no strength without challenge, adversity, resistance or failure.
What I know is this: Your deepest struggle will produce your greatest strength.
What I know is this: Aging fearlessly and owning who and what you are ,allows you to step into the fullness of life.
What I know is this: Celebrate something every day. Be present. Own and honor your body. And be blessed and grateful for what you are becoming.
The last several months my writer’s block has evaporated and the words are flowing again.
Today was a writing day. Actually, my writing bookended my day.
It started with breakfast with friends we haven’t seen since living abroad – and conversation that flowed as though we never skipped a beat.
Conversations around the table about our families, our health, our life, our dreams and goals. We talked all the things.
And this happened: “Amy, I want you to know something. You have inspired and motivated me through your words, your actions and how you live your life.”
The tone in her voice and the way she grabbed my hand when she said it brought tears to my eyes. I don’t know what the look on my face was, but I know how I felt in my soul.
I know how that made my heart feel.
She went on to say, “God has blessed you with an incredible gift of leading, and please don’t stop doing what you’re doing.”
Then she grabbed Tim’s hand and said, “We admire you both so much. We have missed our connection and conversations. Thank you for making time to see us.”
We never realize the impact we have on others. We often don’t understand or take time to think about how our actions and words affect others.
We are moving so quickly, or at times just the opposite, feeling so stuck that we don’t realize how we may have inspired, encouraged someone because we can’t get out of our own way.
What I know is this: Who we’re meant to be is constantly evolving. We have to lean in and appreciate our best lessons, our triumphs, our challenges, our mistakes, and failures as edits in our autobiography.
And with every new chapter, there is a sign you’re moving in the right direction and letting in the light.
I feel myself heading there now, and my hope for you is that you find that light, too.
So…what I know is this……book #2 is being released in December 2025 and I can’t wait for you to be part of it.
